Welcome to Flight Aerial & Pole Dance Open House!
We’d like to invite you to tour our studio, talk to our instructors and students, and even try a few mini classes!
Directions to our Randolph studio can be found d here: https://flightaerialandpole.com/flight-risk-aerials-contact
Plenty of parking is available!
If you’d like to try your hand at a few of the dance styles and apparatus we offer, we have some recommendations on what to wear to make your visit as enjoyable as possible:
Wear clothing that you can comfortably move in; a top that is fitted and won’t fly up if you are upside-down is a good choice! Leggings that sit close to the ankles won’t bind or get snagged on our apparatus as you move about. Pole dance is way easier with bare legs, so a pair of shorts under the leggings for a quick change is a great idea, but lots of pole maneuvers can be done even with leggings on. We usually work barefoot.
We’ll have plenty of water available at the studio, but feel free to bring a water bottle! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email Amanda at flightaerialandpole@gmail.com.
See you at the studio!

Close-fitting leggings are recommended, at least long enough to cover your knees, a close-fitting top that will stay in place when you are upside-down is also a good choice; some students prefer to wear shirts that cover their armpits to prevent chaffing, but this is not always necessary! 201 Junior Aerialists' Sling with Agi & Amanda $30 per class From $19 per visit with 20 Class Pass pass Purchase required to enroll
While young students are welcome in almost all of our standard classes, we wanted to create a class just for our young aerialists to just be kids! Perfect for young students ages 8-15, this class uses group exercises and stretches focused on engaging kids, and working on skills specific to young aerialists, like strength and stability, and maintaining control over their flexibility.
We will be building on our fundamental skills from 101, introducing more challenging maneuvers, controlled drops, and next-level material.
This is a 201 level class, so certain prerequisite skills must be demonstrated for the instructors to join. These include:
Dancer/pike/straddle/pike/dancer sequence
X pullover and rise up from a seat
Hold a pencil for 5 seconds
Thigh hitch/standing arabesque
Waist belay/bridge
½ cross back straddle without guidance(georgia twist)
dive (360 drop) controlled with stop, elevated sling
Walking man with a level rear leg
Minimum 6 months / 20 classes experience
Inversion from a stand in the sling, (can be bent legged), hold 3 counts, slide to loop
Students can only re-test every 2 months!
This class caps at 8, allowing for 1 student per silk sling. Occasional variations in apparatus set-up and spotting requirements may limit how many students are in the air at once. To manage a class of young students, this class has an additional assisting Instructor.
This class is for Junior students, ages 8-15
Instructor: Amanda & Agi Occasional substitutions of instructor may occur; In the event that an instructor is substituted less than 12 hours before class start time, cancellation fees for that class will be waived.
Performance for Junior Aerialists $35 per class From $19 per visit with 20 Class Pass pass Purchase required to enroll
Junior Aerialists' Performance Class $35 per class From $19 per visit with 20 Class Pass pass No purchase required to enroll
Because the purpose of this class is to practice with peers for a group performance, this class is NOT drop-in structured or for first-timers. We ask that students interested in joining have 6 months of consistent aerial experience with us before participating, and attend class every week, allowing for 3 missed classes.
This class IS open level, working within the skill sets of the students participating, from both 101 and 201 levels! If your young aerialist would like to participate in our Performance Class, please speak to Agi or Amanda!

Workshops & Events
Aeronautics of Aerial with Sarah Arrigo $60 Purchase required to enroll
This workshop is 16+ only, please
Get ready for some Circus Science! How does flipping on a steel bar and tying ourselves up in ropes make our brains work better? How do we draw upon our strengths and minimize our weaknesses to build a sustainable, lifelong aerial practice? Join Circus artist, licensed occupational therapist and engineer, Sarah Arrigo, for a fresh and funky exploration using our brains and our bodies to take to the air!
In this 2 hour workshop we will apply the scientific principles of kinesiology and ergonomics to our aerial practice and learn some new trapeze tricks while we’re at it! We’ll get curious, hypothesize, and apply our findings to create dynamic aerial movement.
This workshop is perfect for beginning to intermediate level aerialists, with a focus on static and dance trapeze. The principles taught can be applied to all aerial disciplines AND all ages!
Extras! You will be given personalized materials to take home with and opportunities to review material and apply your knowledge.
Participants will walk away with:
-an understanding of neurodiversity, how we receive and organize information through our senses and apply it to aerial movement.
-a discovery of your unique sensory system and applications to achieve your circus goals.
-an basic understanding of neurodiversity, kinesiology, ergonomics and strategies on how to find the fit between you and your trapeze and move more effectively.
Instructor Bio:
